At Edison Eye Care, our goal is to offer each patient the best eye exam they have ever had. We achieve this goal by providing a thorough eye exam and truly caring for each patient as an individual. We also know our practice is only as good as our team. As our team grows we are seeking to add a member who will ensure that each patient feels welcomed and well cared for from the time they first step into our practice.
The vibe of Edison Eye Care is 1920's with high end finishes and attention to detail. All of our equipment is new and state-of-the-art.
Duties:
- Greet patients as they enter.
- Answer calls: set appointments, schedule referrals and answer questions.
- Sign patients in and ensure intake paperwork and consents are completed.
- Send and receive faxes.
- Answer support email and texts.
- Pull insurance and verify coverage.
- Help patients with frame selections when optical is busy.
- Accept and record payments.
Skills:
- Experience is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of customer service
